MATHEMATICS 4 MUSTANGS: HOME
Welcome to Mathematics 4 Mustangs
with Mrs. Megan J Pule

My name is Megan Pule and I am a math teacher at Kinard Core Knowledge Middle School. This is my first year at Kinard, but I have been an educator for five years. Before coming to Kinard, my professional experience began at Fossil Ridge High School where I taught for one year and then transferred to Cache La Poudre Middle School, teaching 6th through 9th grade students for four years.

I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education in Mathematics from Arizona State University with minors in Psychology and Design Studies. I have also earned a Master of Education from University of Illinois in Educational PSychology (Curriculum, Technology and Educational Reform) and am working towards a Master of Education from Grand Canyon University from Grand Canyon University.

Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family. I have been married to Michael Pule for four years and together we share the love and joy of our son, Avery (2).

When I am not teaching, I enjoy hanging out with my family. Together Michael and I have a passion for baseball, spending our summer months traveling to baseball parks around the United States. Michael and I also play softball on the weekend and I will be coaching the Kinard Varsity Softball Team. I have begun to take up road cycling over the past couple of years and enjoy the challenge of the mountains.

When possible I enjoy traveling. I have visited 15 different countries and 32 stated in the United States, many on long road trips. I especially enjoy visiting my family and childhood friends in Ohio each summer, sharing my joy for roller coasters with my husband on trips to Cedar Point.

I knew early on in life that I wanted to be a math teacher, inspired by friends and teachers to give back. Along the way I forayed into the world of architecture and mechanical engineering, but always came back to working with kids through umpiring softball games furing summer breaks. I eventually combined together my love for mathematics and desire to work with kids with my childhood dreams of giving back to the community through educating youths. My inspiration and teaching practices came from my childhood babysitter, a language arts teacher, and my high school German teacher. I believe in engaging in kids lives to teach through trust and challenging students to achieve more.
